If a=b

[ a=b ] x b

[ ab = b^2 ] -a^2

[ ab - a^2 = b^2 - a^2 ] <-- simplify

[ a ( b-a ) = (b-a)(b+a) ] <-- divide (b-a) from both sides

[ a = b + a ] <-- since a = b

[ a = a + a ]

hence a = 2a , 1 = 2

another 1

a = b
a^2 = ab
2a^2 = a^2 + ab
2a^2 - 2ab = a^2 +ab - 2ab
2a^2 - 2ab = a^2 -ab
2(a^2 - ab) = a^2 - ab

======> 2=1
